Welcome to Neweve's Kate Bush Page

Kate, that was discovered at a young age by a family friend (that just happened to be Pink Floyd's David Gilmore), was sent to learn and improve her artistic abilities (movement, danceing, singing) before she went into a studio to work on her first album "The Kick Inside" in 1978. Since then she released 8 perfect albums, all of which she wrote, played piano and keybords, and had supervised practicly every aspect of production.

kate went on a tour, that showcased all of her talents, which was so demanding that made her decide never to tour again.

This tour is, to my relief, available on videotpe. Kate had never toured since than, but that doesn't mean she stpoed working. Kate has learned over the years how to produce and direct video clips and mastered it as well as everything she ever did.

One of her last projects before a very long dry period was a 45 minutes movie containing a few songs from her last album - The Red Shoes - which is based on a movie by that same name. The movie is called "The Line, The Cross And The Curve" and it features Kate (as an actress too), Miranda Richardson, Lindsey Kemp and Kates aunt Lili.

Latest Update: In 2005 Kate released a very complex double album titled "Aerial".
